Single point focus meditation is where you hold one thing in sight or in your mind and don't waver from it.
Watch a candle flame burn.
Count backwards from 20 to 0. If you have any other thought at all you have to start over.
Hold a shape in your mind. Don't let it move, turn, grow, shrink, anything. Just that shape completely still.
